#240 Inclusive

I’m allergic to almost everything (dust, apples, pollen, latex, peanuts, alfalfa, human skin, smoke…). So the issue of accessibility in queer spaces is interesting to me, but even I sometimes feel it can get too politically correct.
Anyway: tonight (saturday march 30th) I will be performing in Vrankrijk the squat, at the TranScreen benefit. This time they’ll try to make it less smokey than usual, which I hope will work. I am baffled to see that most queers think it’s a good deed to smoke, since it is against government regulations, without actually thinking what this is about: inclusion. There is no denying that YOUR ‘liberal’ action to smoke actually effects others.
The enemy of state regulations is not necessarily your friend, darling.
